- Completion of the Arkansas Korean War Veterans Memorial. The Memorial was officially opened to the public and dedicated on June 25, 2007.

- Suhor Industries of Overland Park, Kansas, selected to design and to construct the Memorial Plaza.
- Light and Time Design Studio and Art Foundry of Royal, Arkansas, selected to construct the Memorial statues.
- Fund Raising Brochure developed.
- Projected grand opening date for the completed Memorial is June 25, 2007.

- The Arkansas Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation was created in the fall of 2003 as a 501 C-3 Non Profit Foundation established solely to direct the effort of building an Arkansas Korean War Veterans Memorial.
